Players MUST play for their own grade level, as dictated by their expected High School graduation date.  In certain circumstances players may play up if approved by East Islip Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors and not in contradiction to any other PAL or governing body rules.

Only players with a permanent residence in East Islip, Islip Terrace, or Great River are allowed to register and play in the East Islip Youth Lacrosse League.  The only exception is if the player is from another town that DOES NOT offer a youth lacrosse program and/or team (i.e., Central Islip, Brentwood)

*In addition, no player that resides within the confines of the East Islip, Islip Terrace, or Great River area, will be permitted and/or released to play for any other town program.

EIYLL teams, at all levels, are defined as competitive lacrosse teams.  Starting in 3rd grade (PAL separates to 3 divisions based upon ability). Players abilities and experience may be taken into consideration when forming teams, however EIYLL gives opportunity to players of all skill levels to play. All children signing up for EIYLL will participate and be given the opportunity to play.
